Kildangan players (past and present) and committee members represented the club exquisitely in Sunday's St. Brigid's primary school run. Liam Fitzpatrick, Gabriel Murtagh, Killian Scully, Robert McGrath and Bernard Behan were all out representing us. Former senior team captain and current club secretary Gabriel Murtagh finished in an exceptional 6th place and former Kildangan player Robert McGrath came home from exile in London to finish up 4th. But it was the youngest of the lot, Killian Scully, who, despite a late entry, came out on top for Kildangan finishing in an astounding 2nd place. Scully is no stranger to the athletic scene having competed for Oughaval Athletics Club previously. Killian has come through the ranks of Kildangan GAA and burst onto the scene for our senior team last year. He will be hoping to cement himself as a key player in the Kildangan defence this year.
Well done lads!
