Hard luck to our u14s who lost out to a strong Athgarvan side on Wednesday evening.

Athgarvan came out strong from the start with early scores. However some excellent defensive play by full back Scott Kavanagh and a a couple of scores from Tadhg Casey saw Abbey Rangers stay in it.

The second half saw two goals in quick succession by Athgarvan with saw them pull away. However the young Jack Fitzpatrick helped us back into it. Unfortunately a goal by Jack O’Toole was not enough to see Abbey Rangers get some much needed points on the board and a string Athgarvan team came out victorious.
