The Kildangan NS under 10s team played in their Cumann na mBunscol final in Moorefield GAA grounds against Gaelscoil Mhic Aodha yesterday. Very difficult match in windy conditions. The Kildangan team all did their best against a very strong team.
The game was very close from the start and a great exchange between both teams. The final score did not reflect the effort put in by the team. Gaelscoil Mhic Aodha pulled away in the second half with three goals in two minutes.
It was a massive achievement to get to the final and everyone of the players did themselves, their school and their families proud not just in this match but in every one of
the four previous matches they played to get to the final.
The coaches at Kildangan GAA would like to thank Eoin Hanrahan and all at Kildangan NS for everything that they have done for this team in the last six weeks.
