In glorious sunshine at Tom Lawlor Park, Caragh, our Under 7s took on Raheens in two entertaining seven-a-side games that delighted the crowd of supporting families. From the first whistle, the children showed great enthusiasm and energy, quickly settling into the action and demonstrating a significant improvement in their skills since their previous outing.
It was clear that the hard work in training had paid off as the cobwebs were well and truly dusted off. The players displayed great determination, teamwork, and an ever-growing confidence on the ball. Each child had their moment to shine, with fantastic solo runs, good tackling, and accurate shots over the bar and on goal.
A huge well done to all the players for their effort and improvement, and many thanks to Raheens for two thoroughly enjoyable games. Next game up is against Athy on Thursday evening, the 12th of September and on Saturday morning, the 14th against Kilcullen.
