Big game this weekend as our senior team face reigning Junior A champions Rathcoffey in round 1 of the Dowling Cup.
Saturday’s game marks a monumental moment in the clubs history as we move out of the reserve leagues for only the second time ever. With it being a home fixture we’re expecting a big attendance.
The lads have been training hard these last couple of months both on and off the pitch. Key players such as Eoghan O’Fearghaill, Mark O’Donovan and Cian Reilly will all be looking to prove they are ready for the step up into the senior league with the Dowling Cup proving the perfect competition to showcase their skill set before the league. Alex Conroy, Darragh Murphy, Killian Reilly and Aaron Scofield will all be hoping to make their debuts for the senior team this Saturday after joint the panel this year. And we all know Oisin Irvin will be looking to get a few scores with the (self-proclaimed) ‘best left foot in Kildangan’.
Best of luck lads!
