Our close neighbours Nurney made the short trip over to Moore O Farrell park on a wet and dark Autumn evening for the third round of the under 11 autumn league. It was Nurney who got out of the traps early and took the lead with some fine early scores. Kildangan kept plugging away with some great scores of our own enduring we kept within touching distance of Nurney at half time.
Kildangan started the second half just as Nurney did the first with some fine early scores. It was score for score throughout the second half with great defending on show from both sets of backs.
With only a few minutes left on the clock, our backs and forwards combined well to work the ball the length of the pitch and kick the final score of the game to ensure both teams shared the spoils.
For Kildangan it was a performance to be very proud of, every player gave it everything for the green and gold and kept battling right untill the very end for each other.
