There was great pride locally today as Kildangan National School enjoyed excellent success at the  schools cross country championships in Rathcoffey.

A huge congratulations to Sam Worrell who delivered a superb performance to take gold in the boys individual race, and to Ella Fitzpatrick who secured a brilliant bronze in the girls event.

Two fantastic achievements on what was a very competitive day.

Well done to all the students who represented the school, along with the teachers and coaches who supported and prepared the teams.

It’s great to see young athletes progressing and enjoying their sport across both school and club.
