The first round of the Future Stars Inter-Club Series got off to a fantastic start on Sunday morning in Nurney, as players from Kildangan, Ballykelly, Nurney and Rheban came together for a really enjoyable and productive session.

In what were cold and challenging conditions, there was huge credit due to all involved — players, coaches and parents — for the energy and commitment shown throughout the morning.

A key feature of the day was the mixing of players across all four clubs, with teams formed from each area training and playing together. It was great to see how quickly the players integrated, worked together and embraced the opportunity to play alongside new teammates.

The session combined skill-based training with games, creating a really positive environment for learning, enjoyment and development.

This series is a fantastic initiative that gives young players the chance to develop their skills, build confidence and experience a different style of training and match play.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising and delivering the first day — it promises to be a really valuable experience over the coming weeks.

The series continues as follows:

📍 April 12th – Rheban

📍 April 19th – Ballykelly

📍 April 26th – Kildangan

A great start and plenty more to look forward to 💚💛
