Our senior footballers face into a massive run of games with three matches in six days, as they push to secure a top-half finish heading into the league split next Friday.
First up is a refixed Round 5 fixture this Saturday evening as we welcome neighbours Rheban to More O’Ferrall Park for a 7.00pm throw-in.
With Rheban recently back in the division, there’ll be no shortage of edge — and local bragging rights are on the line.
The focus then quickly turns to Tuesday night, when we travel to Castlemitchell for an 8.00pm throw-in, with both sides battling to stay in that top half.
Just a few days later, we’re back at home on Friday night to face high-flying Monasterevin in what could be a decisive final game of this phase.
It’s a serious test — three games, short turnaround, big stakes.
We’ll need a big Kildangan crowd behind the lads all week — it could be the difference.
