Kildangan GAA are proud once again to host and be involved with the Alan Mahon Community Event, which has grown into the biggest community evening of the year in Kildangan and one of the standout nights of the summer locally.

What makes the event special is that it is about far more than just running. It is a community occasion that brings together families, neighbours, clubs, organisations and supporters of all ages for an evening centred around fun, activity and togetherness.

The event once again gives participants the unique opportunity to run, jog or walk through the magnificent grounds of Kildangan Stud — an experience unlike anything else around. For those who would prefer not to take part in the run or walk itself, bus tours of Kildangan Stud will also operate throughout the evening, ensuring everybody can enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings.

Gates open at 5.30pm at Kildangan GAA grounds, with the runs beginning at 6.30pm, before everybody returns for what promises to be another fantastic evening around the More O 'Ferrall Park
