Abbey Rangers U14s recorded a comfortable win over Aylmer Gaels this evening.
In the opening few minutes, Zach McNamara scored a lovely goal to set the team up for the evening. Senan Ó Tuama and Oisín McWey followed with further goals, while Oisín also kicked points to keep the scoreboard ticking over, leaving the half-time score at 3-6 to 1-0.
Abbey Rangers continued to dominate in the second half thanks to excellent defending from Sean Casey, Oscar Law, Seamie Fitzpatrick and Jake Curran. Leon and Cameron both converted their goal chances up front as Abbey Rangers ran out comfortable winners.
Best for Abbey Rangers were Oisín McWey, Zach McNamara, Sean Casey and Oscar Law.
