The U10 girls school team brought their fantastic campaign to a close yesterday with an away match against a very strong Kilmead side. While the result didn’t go their way, the girls can hold their heads high after a league full of determination, teamwork and outstanding performances.

This panel showed incredible character right to the final whistle, competing bravely and improving with every game they played. The disappointment at the end only showed how much this team cared and how proud they were to represent their school and community.

The progress made by every player throughout the campaign was tremendous, with skills, confidence and teamwork growing game after game. 
Huge credit must go to the support and encouragement from the teachers, especially Ms Fitzgerald, along with mentors Michelle Murray and Paul Connaughton, whose hard work and dedication helped the girls develop so much over the season.
Well done to every single player for their effort, attitude and sportsmanship throughout the campaign. The future is very bright for this talented group and we look forward to seeing them all back together again in future competitions.
