There is plenty to look forward to across the club this week with a number of important fixtures and milestones ahead for Kildangan, Abbey Rangers and Trinity Gaels teams.

Wednesday evening sees our U14 Abbey Rangers side travel to Rathangan for their final group game of the league. With the team currently occupying a semi-final position, a positive result would go a long way towards cementing their place in the knockout stages. Best of luck to the players and management as they look to finish the group phase strongly.

Thursday evening sees our U11s welcome Rheban to More O’Ferrall Park.

Friday evening brings a huge game for our senior footballers as they host Suncroft in More O’Ferrall Park at 8.00pm. Following last week’s game in Ballymore, the lads will be looking to get their Phase Two league campaign back on track against a strong Suncroft side.

With plenty still to play for over the coming weeks, a big home support would be greatly appreciated.

Please note that all juvenile training this Friday will take place from 6.00pm to 7.00pm to allow players, parents and coaches the opportunity to support the senior team in More O’Ferrall Park.

Also on Friday evening, our U7s travel to Monasterevin.

Saturday promises to be another special day around the club. Our U6s take to the field for their first ever game when they welcome Ellistown to More O’Ferrall Park at 10.00am. A first match is always a memorable occasion for players, parents and coaches alike, and we would encourage as many people as possible to come along and support the boys and girls as they begin their playing journey.

Later on Saturday, More O’Ferrall Park will host a major U9 Fun Blitz, welcoming six clubs for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of football, friendship and fun. It is a great opportunity for our young players to test themselves against new opposition and enjoy all that is good about Gaelic Games at this age. A separate update on the blitz will follow.

We also wish the very best of luck to Trinity Gaels U13s, who contest their final against Eadestown on Saturday in Ballykelly. Finals are special occasions and we hope the players, coaches and supporters enjoy the occasion.
