U9 Football News
On a glorious sunny Saturday afternoon, our fantastic U9 squad travelled to Eadestown to take on a strong all-boys team. Despite a busy weekend that included the Alan Mahon run & super Hang tough competitors as well as soccer commitments earlier in the day, the enthusiasm, energy and determination of our young athletes never wavered.
We fielded two teams and played two highly competitive games, with every player representing the club with pride. The boys delivered some excellent passing football, creating great opportunities for our sharp-shooting forwards, while the girls showed great skill, confidence and determination throughout.
We would like to reach out to any player who are finding difficult to attend these games or training as we really want to develop all this group as they all have their own qualities .
Most importantly, this group continues to improve with every game they play. Their teamwork, understanding and confidence is growing week by week, and it is fantastic to see the progress being made by all involved.
The current series has now come to an end, with new fixtures expected in late July or August. In the meantime, we hope to organise a number of challenge matches to keep the momentum going before the Autumn Series begins.
We are also considering hosting a home blitz in mid-to-late July and will be sending out a poll shortly to gauge interest .
