The championship season steps up another gear this week as our U14s, Minors and Senior team all begin their campaigns.

Following our U12s’ championship opener last week, attention now turns to three more exciting fixtures as the busiest and most anticipated period of the football calendar gets underway.

Our U14s enter the championship after an excellent league campaign which saw them reach the league semi-finals. The progress made throughout the season has been clear, and they’ll be looking to carry that form into championship football.

Our Minor team also begin their championship journey this week. Since the Castlemitchell players joined the panel at the beginning of the league, the squad has developed into a strong, united group, with each game helping them grow in confidence and understanding.

Finally, on Sunday afternoon, our Senior team begin their championship campaign. Following a positive league where real progress was made on the pitch, they’ll be hoping to build on that momentum as the championship gets underway.

Championship football always brings a special atmosphere, and we’d encourage everyone in the club to get behind our teams over the coming days. Your support from the sideline can make a real difference.
