There’s plenty happening across the club this week with fixtures, updates and continued action across all levels.
Our Minor team picked up a well-earned draw away to Milltown on Monday evening, finishing 1-09 to 1-09 in a competitive and hard-fought contest.
Attention now turns to the weekend fixtures.
On Saturday morning, our U11s host Kilcullen in Kildangan, with an updated throw-in time of 9:45am. It’s great to see the younger players back in action and all support is very welcome.
Later that evening, our senior team take on Ardclough in More O’Ferrall Park at 5:00pm. After a strong performance last time out against Suncroft, the group will be looking to build on that and turn it into league points.
On Sunday morning, our Minor team are back in action as Abbey Rangers host their first home game in Castlemitchell, taking on Alymer Gaels at 11:30am.
Alongside the fixtures, this Sunday also sees the launch of the Future Stars Interclub Development Series, a fantastic joint initiative between Kildangan, Nurney, Ballykelly and Rheban aimed at providing additional game time and development opportunities for our young players.
Best of luck to all teams in action over the coming days.
We encourage all members and supporters to get out and support — it makes a massive difference to our teams.
